Believe Stitched 5x7 Mixed Stitch Journal

Hey Hey friends... It's me Scrappin Madge from Madge's Scrappin Lounge and today I am super excited to bring to you another fun Linnie Blooms Project! This project is a super fun one for me! It is a work in progress kind of a thing, so you will see a couple of pages at a time (different posts).  I first have to say that I love love this Mixed Stitch Journal! It is so versatile and it can be used for so many different things.
For me this journal is just my Mixed Media Art Journal! It is me expressing how I am feeling that day or things that are important to me! I used several different techniques throughout these first couple pages! Take a look and see if you can pick out a few.

The Cover on this book has a fun stamping technique and I used my Shimmer Mist from Heidi Swapp (you can purchase some from the Linnie Blooms store HERE).  I also used some fun Ribbon and a great crystal tied to the ribbon (you can purchase your ribbon HERE)
The Heart I used acrylic paint and painted it red allowing it to dry and then stamped on to it as well.  I used A Faber Castle Marker to write Believe.

On these two pages I used Gellatos, stamps, fabric fusion to fold circles into leaves, gold leaf rub and buff and some Spritz ink. Everything can be found in the Linnie Blooms Store except for the stamps and the the gold leaf rub and buff! Shop {HERE}.  I hope that you liked my fun project today!!! I highly recommend getting one of these fun journals, they are super fun to work with!!! Look for some yummy tutorials on how I created these fun pages!! I am will be featuring the next pages from this journal on my next Linnie Blooms Post!

  2. These ARE great books to work in. They take a lot of ink, paint, gel medium, etc... and still hold up beautifully! Great start and looking forward to seeing more pages Scrapping Madge!
